Future/Roadmap:

This game is just in alpha. The technical base has mostly been completed. Now it's time to expand the content! Here is a list of things that I can quickly think off that will be worked on in the future.

In no order:

  • A damage model for the mechs. Parts get overheated or damaged by enemies. Extremely damaged components can fall off, and later repaired at base.
  • Mech vs Mech battles after your  first Mech is assembled:
    • You will destroy other Mechs and will be able to salvage their components and sell them, or use them to upgrade your Mech.
    • Mechs will get much much bigger the further you progress in the map.
  • Expand the open world with much more content, Fallout (1)-esque RPG.
  • A skills system (aiming, sprinting, weapon maintenance, Mech repair, charisma, etc).
  • A dialog system to make choices in the storyline possible.
    • I want to include "peaceful" options as well, to make it possible to complete the game without violence.
  • More types of enemies (and smarter AI).
  • Many more vehicles:
    • Pickup trucks
    • Dirt bikes
    • Magnet cranes
    • Flatbeds
    • And many more.
