MechaStackers

MechaStacker (working title) is a post-apocalyptic action RPG where you explore the open world  to find Mech parts to build and then upgrade your combat Mech. 

Don't let your enemies go to waste, after killing them, load up their gear and supplies with your forklift in a trailer and sell them at the base to earn ßotcoins. ßotcoins can be used to maintain/repair/upgrade your gear and Mech.

Warning: this game contains violence and more than average amount of (cartoon) blood.

How to play and Hints

• The controls are explained in-game. The player and vehicles are mostly controlled with WASD+Mouse.
• Objectives will be marked with a yellow circle (until you found them).
• Because this is an open world, you can end up in end-game locations even early on, try to save the game often with F5 (quicksave) to not lose too much progress.
• Weapon condition (quality/rarity) will effect how often the weapon will jam, press R (reload) to unjam your weapon. The weapon smith in the base can upgrade your weapon so it will no longer jam (for a price). If your weapon breaks, you will not be able to unjam it yourself anymore, bring it to the weapon smith instead.
• Trailers can connect to other trailers! 
• Selling boxes is bad money; there is more money to be made in weapons and fuel barrels.
• Look out where you run, you will trip over items on the ground if you are going too fast. But, you can still fire your guns on the ground while you get back up.
• If an enemy is coming into melee range, rifles will not be effective, sprint into them to body-check  them to the ground! Or, switch to empty hands (the [1] button) and use Mouse1 to melee attack.
• Use the mouse scroll wheel to quickly swap weapons/tools.
• The radio item buttons are clickable, remember to summon the forklift/trailer from anywhere you want!

How to assemble the Mech

1. Find the Mech parts across the world
   1. The Mech body is directly outside of the base, a metal cube.
   2. Two legs, they are marked as yellow circles once you get close to them.
   3. Two weapons
2. Use the fork lift to place the parts on the mech, legs at the bottom left and  right, weapons at the middle left and right.
3. Enter the Mech (spacebar) and turn the ignition key by clicking on it in the dashboard.
