Protus

Never hear the same song twice in a day/week/month again!

Protus watches what's playing on your PC and quietly skips tracks you've heard recently, so your playlists, radio mixes and shuffled libraries stay fresh. It also keeps a beautiful history of everything you've listened to.

Protus works with any app that shows up in the Windows media controls, including music players, streaming apps and browser tabs. There's no account, no sign-in and nothing to set up.

AUTO-SKIP THE REPEATS

Pick how long a track should stay "recently played", from a minute to a year, and Protus skips it automatically if it comes around again.

A PLAY HISTORY THAT'S YOURS

Every track gets an entry with album art, artist, last played time and play count. See what you've been into lately, and what you haven't heard in months. Choose how long history is kept, from a week to forever.

YOU'RE IN CONTROL

• Fine-tune the ignore period, auto-skip period and history retention

• Exclude specific apps so Protus never tracks or skips them

• Start with Windows, ready when you are

• Clear your history with two clicks

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Everything stays on your PC. Protus has no accounts, no analytics and no ads, and your listening history is never uploaded anywhere.
